The Town of Black Creek is consistently going after new opportunities to better our town through available funds that do not increase the tax base and benefit citizens and businesses alike.

Quality of life is an important factor in any town and one of the main aspects that draws people to move to smaller communities.

The Town of Black Creek leads this path in our area by providing superior parks and recreation, utility and enhanced life services to our citizens.

  • USDA: Rural Development Grant for $41,839 on August 2011
  • USDA: Grant $146,000 and $500,000 from The NC Rural Center. Announced on April 30, 2010
  • BLACK CREEK RECEIVED A PLANNING GRANT FOR $26,450 TO DO STORAGE TANK STUDY AND INCREASING BLOCK RATE FEASIBILITY STUDY.
  • The town has Received a PARTF GRANT FOR 2007/008 FOR $82,123.00. THIS WILL BE PHASE II OF PARK PROJECT. THIS WILL COMPLETE OUR PARK PROJECTS.
  • The town of Black Creek has received a NC Rural Center Grant for $494,150 effective October 7, 2008 for water treatment plant.
  • The Town has received a $301,000 grant from the USDA for the water treatment plant in 2008..
